Gifted Studio is a London based architecture and design studio, founded in 2012. The studio is based in Surrey, and operates in London

OUR ETHOS
"A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great".
Everyone is created and born with divine gifts. In our case, creative design is the Gift which led to the creation of Gifted Studio Ltd. In our years of practice, this ethos has underpinned us, and grown into various expressions.
OUR EXPERTISE
Gifted Studio specialist expressions are Architecture, Graphic Design, Product Design and Invitation Design. In addition to this, we run a Mentorship Academy for peers and young aspiring architects and designers.
OUR FOUNDER
Gifted Studio is spearheaded and founded by Nichole Avan-Nomayo, a multifaceted designer. She is an architect (RIBA, ARB) with expertise across various architectural genres.
Before establishing Gifted Studio, she worked for a number of London based architecture practice where she was responsible for delivering many projects at various design stages. Her projects were private houses, retrofit and refurbishments, urban master plans, hospitality, office, community hub, bespoke furniture and product design.
Nichole has sat as an expert adviser at Southwark Design Review panel. Additionally, she has a long-term consultancy relationship with a London based Christian charitable organisation, providing architectural advice and direction for their premises.
Her career as an architect has grown and transformed in significant ways. Leading to her belief, that architecture is a master art. An art that makes the observer ponder and wonder about the mind of the creator, their thought process and divine ability to create outstanding work.
To Nichole, being an architect is one of her greatest creative gifts. Through the lens of architecture, she has developed invaluable long-term working relationships with her peers, clients and construction industry professionals. In practice, she understands the powerful gift of architecture and its ability to showcase a cultural identify, provide solutions that address societal needs, and its profound ability to create spaces that nourish and preserve the human being.
Nichole is deeply passionate about raising and guiding young aspiring architects. Which led to the creation of Gifted Academy. Through which, many secondary and college age students have received insight, advice and direction in their pursuit of architecture. Gifted academy is underpinned by the studio’s ethos, and Nichole thrives in ensuring each student she mentors is able to avoid unnecessary pitfalls in their career path.
Our GS Architect team have a forward-looking approach, with the aim of enhancing the user experience irrespective of the size and scale of the project. We seek inspirations from our client, by listening closely to their requirements, lifestyle and relatable beliefs.
As such, our architecture is people centric. The gift of architecture is the various ways we are able to draw inspiration. For us, patterns in nature have influenced our design approach. In view of this we also imbibe a sustainability led design approach in our work.
We work closely with engineers, both structural, mechanical and electrical. By working closely together, we learn from each discipline, combining our shared knowledge to achieve fully integrated design solutions.

Our GS Homes studio focuses on small to large scale residential developments- extensions, loft conversions to new builds. We design homes to meet our clients’ needs and work closely them. The design process begins with research and feasibility studies; to unravel the potential in each home design project.
A home is a primary place of security. As such a home should enhance our lives and wellbeing. With this in mind, we design each home with a sustainability led approach, imbibing Passivhaus and Biophilic design principles. The planning application process can be tricky. However, with the right strategy, collaboration with key consultants, innovative design approach; we have achieved a strong and thriving planning success record.
A home is inherently a ‘Gift’. A gift not everyone is able to have. With GS Homes you can begin the journey of unravelling the gifts hidden in your home.

Mentorship is our heartbeat at Gifted Studio. It is central to the heart of our founder to share years of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, with young aspiring architects and designers.
Before Gifted Academy ever existed, our founder spent many years guiding and advising secondary and college age students in their exploration of architecture. Often times, organising and securing work placements for her students. Some of them went on to study architecture in the UK and USA, others diversified and pursued engineering careers.
Product Design
As the name suggests, GS Bronze is our product design division. It was inspired by our founder’s ancestral bronze casting lineage in The Benin Kingdom, Guild of Bronze Casters.
GS Bronze seeks to marry product design with architecture. In reality, both disciplines are interconnected within the construction industry. From bronze facades, doors, fenestrations, interior fixtures, bathroom taps to kitchenware. The list is endless.
Bronze cast products and fixtures date as far back to antiquity. As such this division of our studio completes the circle.
